Sources of fluoride can include the water you drink and toothpaste, as well as a special varnish that we apply in the office during a routine preventative care appointment.
How are fluoride treatments applied?
After your routine examination and professional cleaning, the fluoride varnish can be applied to the teeth, and it’s absorbed in a matter of minutes. We recommend not eating or drinking anything for about thirty minutes after applying the fluoride.
