People may be missing teeth for several reasons, such as genetics, injury, disease, and dental decay. Whatever the cause of your tooth loss, you should replace that gap as soon as possible. If you fail to address your tooth gap, youโll experience years of compromised oral function, decreased self-confidence, and potential health issues such as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD).
Dental implants from Albrecht Dentistry in West Bend, Wisconsin, are excellent solutions for missing teeth. Dental implants by Dr. James (Jim) Albrecht can restore your smileโs beauty, offer renewed functional stability, and reliability when eating, smiling, and talking.
A dental implant uses a titanium post to replace your missing tooth root. The biocompatible implant fixture is surgically placed and allowed to fuse with your bone to form a solid foundation for replacement teeth.
As the implant serves as a โrootโ, the remaining parts of the restoration are added to the implant to complete the new โtoothโ.
Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, serve as supports for multiple tooth bridges, help stabilize a complete denture and even serve as supports for permanently replacing all of the teeth in an arch.
Dental implants are considered a permanent solution for missing teeth. However, you must observe diligent oral hygiene to extend the longevity of your restoration. By practicing diligent oral hygiene and scheduling biannual dental visits, implants have the potential to last a lifetime.
Dental implants mimic your natural teeth from the root to the crown. Implant-based restorations feel, look, and function like your natural teeth.
You can speak, smile, and eat confidently with dental implants. Unlike conventional dentures, dental implants wonโt rock, slip, or move when using your teeth since they are securely rooted in bone.
Dental implants are also indistinguishable from other teeth. We use life-like materials to ensure your dental restoration looks like natural teeth. For more believability, look at our โbefore and afterโ gallery to see the undetectable results of dental implants. Your implant looks like natural teeth, or even better because your restoration doesnโt stain or develop decay.
Whether you are a new patient or have been coming to our office for years, we are committed to providing high-quality care.
